There are many reasons that might cause acne, some of which are more controllable than others. There are also many myths and false information that it becomes had to know where to turn and what you're doing right and wrong. Tip 1. Change your pillow case and towels regularly


You should aim to change your pillow cases and towels daily as they are a breeding ground for bacteria. The oils from your skin and hair will accumulate on these areas very quickly and easily aggravate and trigger further outbreaks of acne. Who would have thought!

2. Try different makeup and cleansers

Many types of makeup, particularly foundations, are oil based. This also applies to moisturizers and soaps. They may promise to make your skin look great, but any oil based cosmetics will only serve to clog your pores and cause more problems with your acne.

3. Eat right

There is an undeniable amount of scientific and dermatological research that shows us that one of the major causes of continued severe acne and poor skin conditions is a result of a poor diet. This means eating less junk food which contains empty calories, but also aiming to eat more fruit and vegetables and getting a healthy balance of vitamins such as Omega 3, which is well known for its' skin conditioning qualities amongst many other health benefits such as lower blood pressure and a better sense of well being.

These are just a few things you can do to help cure your acne, but they will not be entirely effective on their own. It is true that medication can also help, but if you are not able to spend hundreds of dollars on continued antibiotics that only treat the effect and not the cause, then you might be interested in a completely holistic approach that is far cheaper, natural and can be done from home.
